We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Slightly Shady. It is literally across the street from the very accessible beach access. The house is immaculate and the pool appeared to be brand new. You can tell that the owners have put a lot of thought into every detail from the available kayaks to the well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed having meals on the 3 porches which all have a view of the gulf! The porches are huge! I would also like to note that this is a great rental for every generation with bedrooms upstairs and downstairs. We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed for a week with the in-laws recently (8 people, ages 18-67) and quickly fell in love with the house! Well decorated, with comfortable beds and plenty of space. Every amenity was provided for and we were very comfortable. Beach access is actually closer than it appears in photos. The shower on the side porch next to the bathroom entrance was quite convenient--we could walk right from the beach to the outdoor shower, wash off chairs and sandy feet, then walk right into the bathroom to shower and change without getting the rest of the house sandy! The two kayaks provided made for fun morning adventures. Nothing was better than having a cup of coffee on one of the many porches, taking the kayaks down to the beach, and paddling around in the calm early morning water watching the dolphins play. The running joke of the week became which porch we wanted to relax on next! The upstairs, downstairs, front, and pool deck all had picturesque views. The pool is salt water with direct sunlight for most of the day and gorgeous views of the golf course. We will absolutely be coming back!
